With a Compassionate Heart
we Should Protect all Forms of Life
Compassion for all beings should be part of our daily lives.
The key to daily practice of compassion is first of all to look deeply
into your mind and fully accept yourself as a precious being.
The foundation of Heart-Smile Training is to accept the body
and mind as they are, and embrace yourself as you are.
“I am whole as I am, here and now.”
It is useful to enter meditation with this phrase.
Entering your heart and mind with this meditative phrase
halts momentarily the operation of the discriminating mind.
From this moment on, things will go smoothly.
Until that moment, you should persevere
and practice steadily to reach this state of consciousness.
